Find peace at Gabriel Park

I’m wondering how you’re all doing? Does your head feel like a whirlwind of debris and static like mine? Recently, we visited Mariposa Grove, the largest grove of sequoia trees in Yosemite. Putting my hand on the ancient bark, I felt at peace and grounded. The last time I felt that was going to my friend, Elizabeth Sloan’s, healing circle.

If you live in Portland and feel like you could take a minute to find some peace, please consider going to Elizabeth’s “Rite of the Womb” healing circle, a way to clear the pain and suffering that can linger in the womb centers, or second chakras of our bodies from painful personal, family or cultural experiences. What emerges is more calm and centered feelings. More confidence. More creativity.

“Rite of the Womb” Healing Circle

June 28th at 2:00 pm

Gabriel Park (at the corner of SW 37th Ave and Nevada Ct. in Multnomah Village)

All are welcome. The healing is for all genders. The ceremony itself may last for about an hour and a half, depending how many participants are in the circle.

  • A short blessing opens the ritual.
  • We begin with an introduction of ourselves to each other.
  • An explanation of the Rite – its origins, relevance, and impact.
  • Possible “bio break” (there are restrooms at the park)
  • Participants then receive the Rite, and share it with each other.
  • Guided meditation to anchor the shift.
  • There will be an optional discussion afterwards.
  • Closing blessing
  • Meet and talk to your sisters in the circle
