IMG_1700Check out this guy. He doesn’t need a hat or a waist. The best part is I look way better than him. I could just stand next to that tank at the Seaside Aquarium all day, lookin’ good. We went there on a day trip with my dad and his wife Chris on their last day here. Talk about a serious mood booster. It was so great hanging out with them, watching the kids have an absolute blast playing with their grandparents and NOT thinking about Weird Cancer Guy. I didn’t feel like I was going to die even once. That was last week. I’m going to carry these images around in my head for a long time. Thanks for coming out here, Dad and Chris. We love you!

Something's wrong with my husband. He has an uncanny ability to win cheesy stuffed animals in the crane game. He won four in a row.

THREE POSITIVES:

1-IMG_1705Livvie made fresh-squeezed orange juice for everyone. The oranges were pink and blood oranges from Kruger’s on Hawthorne. I know the Kruger’s are me best friends, but seriously – those were the best oranges I’ve ever had. Go get some!

2- Trina is on the SCENE – planning an auction to raise more funds. It’s going to be crazy fun. Details coming soon.

3- I’m tired in a relaxed, peaceful kind of way after my dad and Chris being here. So I’m not going to count it as tired, just thankful.
