After running around like a mad cat getting ready for Livvie’s birthday party, meeting with Dr. Awesome and taking Steven to the doctor, I was beat. Then, amazing stealth photographer Nick Mendez sent me these photos from the auction and refueled me. (He’s available for hire, by the way.) Hope you enjoy these!
THREE POSITIVES:
1- Steven has a cold, not pneumonia.
2- Dr. Awesome still can’t find the tumor. Getting a mastectomy dramatically reduces the chances of the cancer making a comeback.
3- Sharon sent me the nicest note thanking me for the experience – she got to make new friends and “have a fantastic time in the process.” I never would have thought that allowing people to love and help you is a gift in itself. But I’m still going to thank everyone…forever.
